After his school days Lars joined the military where he performed his basic military service for nine months within the Kongelige Livgarde (Royal Guards) An infantry regiment in the Danish army. He was not convinced that the military service was right for him, so he decided to search for something else and eventually chose to study biology. Anette came back from a juggler's course and showed Lars the amount she could manage in three days, despite the fact that Lars was already working for half a year. Lars was impressed and wanted to do this also. He dropped out of college and enrolled in juggling schools. He learned fire breathing and performing juggling at this institution. After the completion of high school he travelled around Europe with two buddies, which was where he performed on the streets of Paris, Munich, Moscow, Warsaw, and other cities. He was introduced into a children's circus two years later. There he also learned pantomimes for children's theater and street performances.
