Alinity made an appearance in a lawsuit against Twitch. Erik Estavillo, a Twitch fan from California made a complaint to the civil court seeking $25 million in damages from Twitch in connection with the exposure to "overly suggestive and sexual content that came from female streamers" as they browsed the site. Dexerto has obtained court documents which show that the plaintiff who had previously filed a lawsuit against Microsoft Sony Nintendo Blizzard and Blizzard has lodged a formal lawsuit on the 15th of June. Twitch received an official summons from the court on the 19th June. Estavillo is one of the men who, according to his complaint filed with Santa Clara Superior Court of California which was filed on June 15, suffers from obsessive/compulsive disorders, sexual addiction and other health issues that force him to dependent on the internet to entertain himself. In addition, the complaint claims Twitch causes these problems. The complaint went on to mention a number of streamers with females that it claims "continues to show viewers who simply want to watch gamers playing games on Twitch however, they are exposed to sexually addictive material and content on a consistent regularly and daily basis." Alinity wasn't listed. The complaint seeks relief, it wants to ban streamers for life who violated Twitch ToS. The $25 million amount is asked for, "to be divided between the plaintiff and all other Twitch Prime Turbo Subscribers" with the remainder being donated to charitable organizations.
